Mason, supported by Della Street and investigator Paul Drake, dismantles appearances: trapped inheritances, troubled marriages, false confessions, family schemes, crimes staged as accidents. Through methodical investigation and courtroom twists, he exposes the real culprit, often at the most dramatic moment.
